The Daily Ascent — A Publishing House for Men

The Daily Ascent is a publishing house for men who want to grow in wisdom, faith, discipline, leadership, stewardship, marriage, fatherhood, and purpose — through daily reflection rather than occasional inspiration.

Its mission is to help ordinary men faithfully become extraordinary husbands, fathers, leaders, servants, and stewards. The focus is not perfection. The focus is continual ascent — a little each day, over many years, with the honesty and patience such a climb requires.

The house is built around one long-form work: the year-long daily companion. Each volume is a year of readings on a single territory a man is called to govern well. The founding volume, 365: The Modern Man, is followed by The Modern Husband, The Modern Father, The Modern Leader, The Modern Steward, and The Modern Warrior — together forming The Modern Man Collection. Around these books, the house gathers audiobooks, journals, courses, podcasts, and community.

The tone is intentionally quiet. The Daily Ascent is not motivational content, and it is not "alpha male" content. It is meant to sit on a nightstand for years — closer to a leather-bound classic than a product of the moment. Its writing is grounded in a Christian conviction, and honest about what philosophy — classical, Stoic, and Christian — has understood well. Where sources differ, the difference is named plainly, never blurred.
